It's January - the month when HOL'ers come out of RL hibernation and scramble to finish all their work for the entire term! As we wait for the end-of-term avalanche of points, quills, and awards to come in, let's reminisce on events that occurred since the last issue of SerpenTimes.
We celebrated Slythmas by playing Snakes & Tinsel in December. Does anyone pine for the background music or the jingle of the bells from Winterbells? *g* Stocking Stuffers were completed. Gingerbread houses were colored. Slythmas carols were written and sung. Reindeer were located in time for Santa's annual worldwide chimney sweep. We drooled over pictures of traditional holiday foods and we were educated about the difference between a menorah and a chanukiah. Many people were introduced to the dreidel for the first time. Maybe Will and Amy can put their heads together and figure out how we can play Snakes & Dreidel as part of our next Slythmas celebration! *hinthint* The holiday garlands are now back in storage, but a layer of frosty snow still remains at the top of the Dungeons. It may be a few more months before it melts completely. Stay warm, everyone! Don't forget your scarf and mittens when you venture outdoors this winter! In this edition of SerpenTimes:
